Our GRETCHEN design is brought forward (and named after!) the owner of Salado Creek Tack Shop, one of Deinhardt Designs' very first retailers. Below is a note from our Founder about this design:
The story of how Gretchen and I met is the perfect way to explain her namesake print - Plus it's a great story! While hanging out in the Halter Ego® booth at a tradeshow, I crossed paths with Gretchen while we were both sipping wine and rifling through bags of products while kneeling on the floor. I was wearing one of my shirts, which caught her eye - before I knew it I was taking an order! But it was the Monarch design that really sealed the deal. When she saw it she shared a story with me about her childhood friend that had passed from Lymphoma. She said she has always been drawn to butterflies because they are often used to symbolize Lymphoma Awareness. We spoke that day, during that first meeting, about her someday wanting to design a print with me in honor of her friend - and almost 2 years later, here 'The Gretchen' is!
